This-30-year-old woman was dissatisfied with her breasts' asymmetry and size. Her left breast was noticeably lower than her right breast and seemed much more deflated. She wanted to go from an A-cup to approximately a C-cup, so she began looking for a surgeon who specialized in breast augmentation in Los Angeles.
She and Dr. David Stoker decided that a breast augmentation would be right for her, and to compensate for her asymmetry, they decided that a circumareolar breast lift was necessary on her left side. A circumareolar breast lift, called a mastopexy, is a particular technique for breast lift, where the surgeon makes an incision around the areolas (the skin around the nipple) and another, larger circular incision around the first. The skin in between these incisions is removed and the nipple is positioned higher on the breast. The surgeon then sutures the skin together, lifting the breast with scarring just around the areolas rather than underneath the breasts.
Dr. Stoker was able to lift her left breast and augment both breasts through areolar incisions, leaving minimal scarring around the nipple. In the "after" photos, her breasts appear symmetrical and full while still looking natural. After the surgery, she was pleased with the results of her Los Angeles breast lift and augmentation.
This 26-year-old woman was concerned with the asymmetry and disproportion of her breasts. She scheduled an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. David Stoker to address her concerns.
During her consultation, she expressed her desire for having breasts of even size. She decided to enlarge her breasts with Los Angeles breast implants. Her case was particularly challenging because of the breast asymmetry in volume and areolar diameter. Since her areolas were different sizes and there was less skin underneath her right areola, this procedure required some special design.
To even out the size, shape, and position of her breasts, her surgeon had to use two different sized implants with different volumes and diameters. Moderate profile implants were used, size 325 cc on her left breast and size 225 cc on her right breast to address some asymmetry. Also, her left inframammary crease was lowered to improve the similarities between the breasts. Her implants were placed through aerolar incisions in submuscular pockets.
Although this case was not easy, her breasts turned out very symmetrical. Not only are her breasts symmetrical, they are very proportional. Her Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. David Stoker was glad that he was able to help her achieve the look that she wanted.
This 36-year-old engineer was bothered by the asymmetry and droopiness of her breasts. Determined to enhance the look of her breasts, she began searching for a highly experienced Los Angeles or Santa Monica plastic surgeon that specialized in breast augmentation procedures. She called Dr. Stoker's practice and made an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Stoker.
Dr. Stoker knew that this was going to be a challenging procedure due to the asymmetry of her breasts. The surgeon noticed that her areolas varied in size, her left breast drooped to a lower position than the right, and her inframammary crease was positioned far from the lower portion of her breasts. Considering making all of these features more proportional, he suggested that she choose Moderate Profile Plus implants, which are round implants with a higher projection and moderate base lift. He also suggested that she have size 255 cc implants inserted through areolar incisions into submuscular pockets.
Her breasts now have a much more proportional look and she is thrilled to have more symmetrical breasts after her Los Angeles breast augmentation.
This 34-year-old woman was unhappy with the shape, size, and asymmetry of her breasts. She was bothered by how her left breast had a more elevated position than her right breast. She wanted her breasts to be larger, and more proportional. Knowing that there were plastic surgery procedures that could help her correct this, she made an appointment with Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Stoker.
She expressed to Dr. Stoker how she wanted a breast augmentation without removal of skin or tissue around the areolas. Augmenting the breasts in this way is particularly challenging compared to a typical breast augmentation. Patients often like this method because it keeps the breasts looking very natural.
During her procedure, her surgeon made incisions around her areolas and inserted 400 cc Moderate Plus Profile gel implants. Moderate Plus Profile breast implants were the best implant type for this patient, since she has a narrow chest width and still wanted a full, projecting contour. These implants were placed in a submuscular pocket which is behind the pectoral muscle. This helps to conceal edges and ripples of the breast implant and many of our patients like this position because it often allows for the breasts to have a natural feel.
Her surgeon was able to preserve her areolas and did not have to remove any of her skin. Her breasts have the proportional look that she desired. She is very pleased with her Los Angeles breast augmentation.
This 40-year-old woman desired increased breast size and improved symmetry. Dr. Stoker performed a breast augmentation and a breast lift at the same time to improve her symmetry and achieve her goals. He used silicone gel implants that were round, textured and midrange profile. The left implant was 203cc and the right implant was 222cc. She is shown before and 16 months following her surgery.
