This 23-year-old woman was bothered by the asymmetry and droopiness of her breasts. She found it particularly difficult that she did not fit into any bra well because of the difference in breast size. She desired to have larger and perkier breasts. Dr. Stoker performed a breast lift and augmentation with textured silicone gel implants of different sizes. The two procedures were done together in one operation. She is shown before and six weeks following her surgery.
This 45-year-old mother had two previous breast implant operations by other surgeons and was frustrated by her recurrent capsular contractures and breast deformity. Dr. Stoker performed breast capsulectomies and replacement of her implants with smaller, textured silicone gel implants of 290cc and 272cc to improve her shape and symmetry. She is shown before and three weeks following her surgery.
This 44-year-old woman was unhappy with her small, asymmetrical breasts. Feeling self-conscious about their size and shape, she started looking for a Los Angeles plastic surgeon who had a great deal of experience correcting breast asymmetry with augmentation. She spent some time exploring her options before deciding to contact Dr. David Stoker for a consultation.
She was eager to meet with Dr. Stoker and made sure to ask plenty of questions during her consultation. She expressed her concerns while her surgeon listened carefully. He explained that the best way to correct breast size asymmetry is to place two different sized implants into her breasts. She liked the feel and look of moderate profile implants for a more natural appearance.
Her implants were placed under her muscle through areolar incisions with a size of 250 cc to achieve balance. After she recovered, she returned to have her "after" photos taken. Her photos show noticeable symmetry and a conservative increase in breast size. She was very happy with her surgery and her choice for the type of Los Angeles breast implant.
After years of considering a breast reduction, this 46-year-old woman finally decided to look for a California breast reduction surgeon. She had had enough after her breasts had become so large they caused her constant pain in her back and shoulders. When she began researching breast reduction, she discovered that laser breast surgery was worth pursuing.
When she came for her consultation, she and Dr. Stoker agreed that a breast reduction with laser breast surgery was exactly what she needed. Since she had so much breast volume, her surgery would be extensive, but it would also greatly improve the quality of her life. In fact, the surgery was so extreme that during the procedure, her surgeon removed almost 8 times the average amount of tissue and fat as the average breast reduction—just from her larger breast. He removed over 3,100 grams from her larger breast when the average size of a breast reduction is approximately 400 grams.
The laser breast surgery gave her more upper breast fullness and a longer-lasting lift by creating an internal support out of her own tissue. Remarkably, her Los Angeles plastic surgeon was also able to maintain her nipple sensation and normal areolar color by leaving the nipples attached during the surgery. When this patient looks at her postoperative photos, she can't believe she waited so long to have a breast reduction and she is happy she didn't wait any longer.
This 33-year-old mother felt great discomfort because of her large and heavy breasts and felt that their dramatic asymmetry made it difficult for her to fit into many outfits. Since her breasts were such a constant annoyance, she decided to find a Los Angeles plastic surgeon who could reshape her breasts and relieve her concerns in the process.
During her consultation with Dr. David Stoker, he examined her breasts and suggested that she undergo both a breast reduction and breast lift surgery. He explained that the breast reduction would decrease the size of her breasts, but since there was a great deal of asymmetry and since her breasts had begun to sag, a breast lift with the Laser breast surgery would also be beneficial.
The Laser breast surgery procedure not only lifts the breasts, it provides internal support to the breast tissue following surgery. During the procedure, Dr. Stoker takes a section of excess skin that is usually removed during surgery, treats it with a carbon dioxide laser and then sutures it to the chest wall underneath the breast. Once the skin is sutured in, her surgeon closes the incision and the internal "support" continues to support the tissue thereafter.
Following her Los Angeles breast reduction and Laser breast surgery, this patient was incredibly pleased with the results. Her symptoms improved immediately and her breasts were more symmetrical and perky.
This mother was concerned about the size and shape of her breasts. Wanting her breasts to be fuller and more symmetrical, she began searching for a skilled surgeon who performed breast enlargement in Los Angeles. She was eager to meet with board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. David Stoker to see what he could do to restore her breasts.
During her consultation, Dr. Stoker explained that he corrects asymmetry in the breast usually with breast implants and with a breast lift in Los Angeles. The combination of the procedures adjusts the size and placement of the breasts, restoring sagging and deflated breasts to a more youthful position.
Dr. Stoker utilized different techniques of each side to improve her breast symmetry and raise her nipple position in addition to using two different sizes of breast implants to give her even breast volume and more fullness in her upper breasts. After placing her implants, Dr. Stoker performed a laser breast surgery, where the surgeon uses a patch of skin to create an internal support to help support the breast tissue after surgery.
After the surgery was completed, this patient was asks what she thought of her new breasts and remarked that she was very pleased with the results and happy that her breasts were symmetrical and fuller.
This woman, in her 20's, suffered from a severe congenital breast asymmetry. It had become more pronounced after going through puberty and after living with it for years, she decided that she wanted to find a Los Angeles breast augmentation surgeon who had a lot of experience treating asymmetry.
When she met with board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. David Stoker, she expressed her desire to have her breasts be symmetrical by increasing the size of her right breast. Since she had volume on her left side but her breast drooped, leaving her nipple pointing downward, her surgeon recommended that they do only a breast lift on the left. To correct the right breast, Dr. Stoker performed only a breast augmentation, inserting the implant through an incision made through her areola, or the skin around the nipple.
After her operation, her breasts appear much more symmetrical in size, shape and nipple size and position than they were before. Overall, she was very pleased with how symmetrical her breasts had become in volume, shape, areola diameter and nipple position. Now that she had both a breast augmentation and breast lift in Los Angeles, she was happy that her breasts looked normal and natural.
This-30-year-old woman was dissatisfied with her breasts' asymmetry and size. Her left breast was noticeably lower than her right breast and seemed much more deflated. She wanted to go from an A-cup to approximately a C-cup, so she began looking for a surgeon who specialized in breast augmentation in Los Angeles.
She and Dr. David Stoker decided that a breast augmentation would be right for her, and to compensate for her asymmetry, they decided that a circumareolar breast lift was necessary on her left side. A circumareolar breast lift, called a mastopexy, is a particular technique for breast lift, where the surgeon makes an incision around the areolas (the skin around the nipple) and another, larger circular incision around the first. The skin in between these incisions is removed and the nipple is positioned higher on the breast. The surgeon then sutures the skin together, lifting the breast with scarring just around the areolas rather than underneath the breasts.
Dr. Stoker was able to lift her left breast and augment both breasts through areolar incisions, leaving minimal scarring around the nipple. In the "after" photos, her breasts appear symmetrical and full while still looking natural. After the surgery, she was pleased with the results of her Los Angeles breast lift and augmentation.
This 36-year-old engineer was bothered by the asymmetry and droopiness of her breasts. Determined to enhance the look of her breasts, she began searching for a highly experienced Los Angeles or Santa Monica plastic surgeon that specialized in breast augmentation procedures. She called Dr. Stoker's practice and made an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Stoker.
Dr. Stoker knew that this was going to be a challenging procedure due to the asymmetry of her breasts. The surgeon noticed that her areolas varied in size, her left breast drooped to a lower position than the right, and her inframammary crease was positioned far from the lower portion of her breasts. Considering making all of these features more proportional, he suggested that she choose Moderate Profile Plus implants, which are round implants with a higher projection and moderate base lift. He also suggested that she have size 255 cc implants inserted through areolar incisions into submuscular pockets.
Her breasts now have a much more proportional look and she is thrilled to have more symmetrical breasts after her Los Angeles breast augmentation.
This 34-year-old woman was unhappy with the shape, size, and asymmetry of her breasts. She was bothered by how her left breast had a more elevated position than her right breast. She wanted her breasts to be larger, and more proportional. Knowing that there were plastic surgery procedures that could help her correct this, she made an appointment with Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Stoker.
She expressed to Dr. Stoker how she wanted a breast augmentation without removal of skin or tissue around the areolas. Augmenting the breasts in this way is particularly challenging compared to a typical breast augmentation. Patients often like this method because it keeps the breasts looking very natural.
During her procedure, her surgeon made incisions around her areolas and inserted 400 cc Moderate Plus Profile gel implants. Moderate Plus Profile breast implants were the best implant type for this patient, since she has a narrow chest width and still wanted a full, projecting contour. These implants were placed in a submuscular pocket which is behind the pectoral muscle. This helps to conceal edges and ripples of the breast implant and many of our patients like this position because it often allows for the breasts to have a natural feel.
Her surgeon was able to preserve her areolas and did not have to remove any of her skin. Her breasts have the proportional look that she desired. She is very pleased with her Los Angeles breast augmentation.
