This 34-year-old woman was bothered by her breast asymmetry that made it impossible for her to fit into most clothing outfits. She also desired perkier breasts. Dr. Stoker performed a correction of her asymmetry by performing a laser breast lift on both breasts and a laser breast reduction of 360 grams on her larger right breast. She is shown before and three years after her surgery.
This 51-year-old woman had breast cancer diagnosed on a right breast biopsy. The biopsy scar is visible on the preop pictures. She then underwent a nipple-sparing mastectomy by a breast oncologic surgeon. In the same operation, Dr. Stoker performed a right breast reconstruction using a 354cc, textured, round, silicone gel implant. He also performed a left breast lift to improve her asymmetry. She is shown before and 13 months following her surgery. Fortunately, she has had no recurrence of the breast cancer.
This 56-year-old woman complained of breast asymmetry and capsular contracture. She also desired larger breasts. Dr. Stoker performed breast capsulotomies and correction of her breast asymmetry. He replaced her implants with 475cc, textured, anatomical shape, cohesive gel “gummy” implants placed under the muscle through areolar incisions. He also corrected the depression that she had on her right areola. She is shown before and six months following her surgery.
This 46-year-old woman desired fuller and more ideally shaped breasts. She developed some droopiness of her breasts in the years since her first breast augmentation. Dr. Stoker removed her existing implants and replaced them with 600cc smooth silicone gel implants placed through her existing areolar incisions. She is shown before and three months following her surgery.
This 43-year-old mother complained of breast asymmetry and changes in the shape of her breasts following pregnancy. She had breast implants placed years earlier by another surgeon. To improve her breast symmetry and shape, Dr. Stoker performed a capsulotomy, right breast lift and replacement of implants with 507cc midrange profile, silicone gel implants. She is shown before and one year following her surgery.
This patient had breast asymmetry and left capsular contracture years after having breast augmentation by another surgeon. Dr. Stoker performed breast capsulectomies and replacement with new silicone gel implants. She is shown before and approximately two months following her surgery.
This 28-year-old woman had saline breast implants from another surgeon and developed "capsular contractures." This condition occurs when excessive scar tissue forms around the breast implants, causing it to harden and take on a distorted shape. Even though she had her previous implants removed, her breasts still looked misshapen. Knowing she needed a Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon she could trust, she called for a consultation with Dr. David Stoker.
She met with Dr. Stoker and explained the plastic surgery complications she had faced as well as her wish to improve the look and size of her breasts. After a brief physical examination, he recommended a breast augmentation revision in Los Angeles to enhance the size of her breasts. Additionally, he suggested a capsulotomy to remove the scar formation and prevent capsular contractures from developing again. She tried on a variety of implant sizes under support and settled on the 550cc silicone gel implants, which are typically chosen over saline implants because of their more natural feel.
For the operation, Dr. Stoker first placed an incision through the areola to perform the capsulotomy and then inserted the implants. Her breasts now look noticeably fuller with a more natural, rounded shape. She is very happy and confident in her appearance.
This 44-year-old mother wanted to improve the look of her breasts, which had become deflated and had begun to sag with time. Tired of feeling disappointed with her breasts, she decided to find a Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon who performed both breast augmentation and breast lift procedures. After learning about Dr. Stoker's background, she contacted us for a consultation.
During her consultation, she explained to Dr. Stoker that she wanted to not only lift her breasts but enlarge them as well. After examining her breasts, Dr. Stoker agreed that having both a lift and augmentation would give her optimal results. Combining the two procedures is technically difficult to perform, but our surgeons have published the largest clinical series ever published on breast lifts and augmentation done in one stage. With Dr. Stoker's experience performing combination procedures, she could have both procedures done safely with only one recovery period.
After she recovered from her Los Angeles breast augmentation and lift, she returned to have her "after" photos taken. As you can see, her breasts look much more youthful and have a natural-looking contour. She reported that she felt more confident in more revealing clothing, as evident in her bikini tan lines, and was very pleased with the results. Dr. Stoker was happy for her, but encouraged her to remember the sunscreen.
Discontent with her small breasts, this 22-year-old woman wanted to increase her cup size to a C. She was also concerned that having a breast augmentation might cause her areolas (the skin around the nipple) to increase in size, so when she met with Dr. David Stoker, she expressed her concerns and asked what options she had for increasing the size of her breasts while still having them look natural.
To address this concern, Dr. Stoker suggested that during her breast augmentation in Los Angeles, he could insert the implants through small, areolar incisions. This location for the incision would also allow Dr. Stoker to correct one of the patient's other concerns, the position of her areolas. She wanted her nipples to sit higher on her breasts, so during her operation, Dr. Stoker performed a breast lift in addition to the augmentation to reposition her nipples.
The entire procedure was done through the incisions made around her areolas. Her implants were inserted into submuscular pockets which make her breasts look more natural despite being larger in size. There was only minimal scarring around her areolas and the patient's breasts look fuller and proportionate. Dr. Stoker was able to maintain the size of her areolas while giving her the look she wanted. Overall, this patient was happy that she decided to have both an augmentation and a breast lift in Los Angeles.
This 35-year-old mother had been unhappy with the way her breasts looked after having children. She wanted her breasts to look symmetrical and be a similar size to her shape before she breastfed her children. After doing some research, she decided to consult with Dr. David Stoker because she wanted to see an experienced Los Angeles breast augmentation surgeon.
After discussing her concerns about her breasts, this patient learned more about breast augmentation from her surgeon. For her particular case, Dr. Stoker believed that a breast lift would be best to reposition her breasts and eliminate her asymmetry. He recommended that she have a laser breast lift procedure in conjunction with her breast lift. In the procedure, Dr. Stoker utilizes the skin that supports the nipple, which is normally discarded after surgery, by internally suturing it to the chest wall after treating it with a CO2 laser. By adding the laser breast lift, the surgeon is able to lift a patient's breasts in a way that is natural and lasting.
Together with breast implants, the breast lift completely changed the appearance of this patient's breasts. Her areolas (the skin around her nipples) are now symmetrical and smaller than before surgery and her nipples are positioned evenly on her breasts. In her "after" photos, her breasts look fuller and more youthful. She was very pleased with the results of her breast augmentation and breast lift in Los Angeles.
