Wanting her breasts to look perkier, shapelier and more symmetrical, this 57-year-old mother decided to find a plastic surgery center where she could meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss her options.

When she came to Dr. Stoker's Practice, she explained her concerns to her surgeon and after examining her breasts, her surgeon recommended that she undergo a breast lift with a small reduction on her right side to make the breasts more symmetrical. During a standard breast lift procedure, a section of skin below the nipple is removed and the remaining skin is sutured together to lift the breast. Typically, this patch of skin is discarded, but during a laser breast surgery, the surgeon will treat the skin with a CO2 laser and then internally suture the skin to the chest wall, creating an internal brassiere that will support the breast tissue after surgery.
