As a board-certified plastic surgeon, I'm grateful for the benefits that BOTOX® Cosmetic offers my patients. At the same time, I'm also glad that there's a new alternative available: Dysport™. Each of these products has their own strengths, and each would be better suited for some patients. That's why I'm sharing the option of Dysport with my Los Angeles patients – for them, more options might just mean better results.

To discover what Dysport can do for you, schedule some time to visit us in Los Angeles for your personal Dysport or BOTOX Cosmetic consultation. Simply request a consultation online or call us at (310) 300-1779.

The Dr. Stoker Difference

For Your Dysport™:

  1. He is frequently featured in the media such as The New York Times, The Learning Channel, and the Dr. Phil show.
  2. His extensive knowledge of facial anatomy allows him to create natural-looking results with unparalleled safety.
  3. Thanks to his many years of experience, he can help you decide between Dysport, BOTOX® Cosmetic, and other injectable options.

I am passionate about helping men and women achieve their cosmetic goals. I will put together a special treatment plan just for you to help you discover your best alternatives. This may mean that I suggest a surgical procedure such as a facelift or eyelid surgery, if you're open to it. It may also mean that I recommend combining Dysport with other skin care treatments such as injectable fillers, chemical peels, or laser skin rejuvenation. Together, we'll chart a course for your ultimate enhancement.

Treatment with Dysport is essentially the same as treatment with BOTOX in Los Angeles. Patients lie back and relax in a comfortable treatment room while I administer a series of small injections. A topical anesthetic is available to prevent any minimal discomfort (which has been compared to an insect bite). My patients are in, out, and on their way – usually in under an hour.

Patients can get right back to their usual routine immediately after treatment with Dysport. Some redness and bruising are possible, but these fade quickly and can be covered with makeup. It's after treatment that some of the key differences between BOTOX and Dysport can be seen: Dysport will spread further from the injection site and will show results sooner than BOTOX (1 to 2 days versus 3 to 5 days). Results of Dysport generally last for 3 to 6 months, as with BOTOX, but treatment is repeatable for continued rejuvenation.
