Breast Augmentation with Fat Grafts Before & After Case 1515
Case Details
Not every patient considering breast augmentation wants to go up several sizes. This young woman had a smaller frame and hoped for a subtle improvement: a little more fullness, better cleavage, and a shape that would fill out her shirts. Because she wanted a gentle change using her own tissue, Dr. David Stoker performed fat transfer breast augmentation.
In this procedure, fat is removed through liposuction and then carefully injected into the breasts. The transferred fat becomes part of the breast itself once it establishes a blood supply, so the result blends with her natural breast tissue. This gradual quality makes fat grafting a useful option when the goal is refinement rather than a dramatic increase.
After surgery, her breasts appear fuller, with improved cleavage and a smooth transition from her chest. The result stays in proportion with her petite build. Some grafted fat may be reabsorbed, and results vary between patients. Careful technique is central to Dr. Stoker's approach to fat transfer, and it helps create the kind of subtle, natural enhancement this patient wanted.
