Breast Lift Before & After Case 1278
Case Details
This 55-year-old patient underwent a breast lift with fat grafting, a combination that addresses two separate aspects of breast change. Dr. David Stoker performed the breast lift (mastopexy) to reshape and reposition the breasts. He then added fat grafting to restore volume using her own tissue rather than an implant.
A breast lift works by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue so the breast sits higher and has a firmer shape. Lifting alone, however, does not add volume. Fat grafting fills that gap: fat is collected through liposuction and transferred into the breasts, where it becomes part of the breast tissue once it establishes a blood supply. Together, the two procedures improve both the position and the fullness of the breast.
The before and after photos show breasts that sit higher on the chest, with a more youthful shape and improved fullness. Because no implant was used, the added volume blends with her natural breast tissue. Some grafted fat may be reabsorbed, and results vary between patients. For women who want a lifted, fuller breast without an implant, combining mastopexy with fat grafting offers a way to address both concerns in one surgery.
