I am completely thrilled about the outcome of my breast augmentation that Dr Stoker performed.
After breastfeeding my two daughters, the size of my breasts were reduced and my hips were significantly larger. Clothes did not fit me properly and I did not like what I saw in the mirror. As a physician, wife, and mother, I spend my days caring for other people but rarely have the time to take care of myself. I am so happy that I made the decision to get a breast augmentation. As mothers, we need to feel self confident about ourselves ( in mind and body) which directly affects how we interact with our children. I wish that I had undergone the procedure sooner. I did not want obscenely large breasts. I wanted breasts that were in proportion to my body frame, and that is exactly what I got. More importantly, they look VERY NATURAL. My husband had many reservations regarding the procedure. After our initial consultation with DR Stoker, he immediately felt better about my decision. In fact, we had consulted other plastic surgeons and the decision to go with Dr Stoker was made immediately after our consultation with him. I will be referring many of my patients to Dr Stoker for his skill and professionalism.
In addition, Dr Stoker did not feel like I needed the full “mommy makeover“. He felt that I should take more time and try to exercise to lose the abdominal weight. If that was unsuccessful, we could revisit the abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). As a fellow physician, I appreciated his honesty and that he did not want to do an unnecessary surgery.
As a physician, it was important that I return back to work in a timely manner. I was back to work seeing patients after three days. The pain was minimal and controlled by only Tylenol. This is very important to working women during a difficult economy when missed work days are undesirable to employers.
I highly recommend without reservation that if any woman is thinking of a plastic surgery procedure to at least have a consultation with Dr Stoker to discuss options. You will be thrilled and completely satisfied with your outcomes, as I was.
