Breast Augmentation with Fat Grafts Before & After Case 1384
Case Details
For this 40-year-old patient, the concern was shape more than size. Her breasts were already larger, but they had developed some sagging and looked emptier in the upper pole. Dr. David Stoker performed a breast augmentation with fat grafts to restore fullness where it had diminished, without adding unnecessary volume to an already generous breast.
Fat was collected through liposuction and grafted into the breasts, with the volume directed toward the upper portion. This is one of the practical advantages of fat grafting. Because the fat is placed in small amounts rather than as a single implant, the surgeon can reshape specific areas of the breast.
The postoperative photographs show a fuller upper breast and a rounder, more balanced overall shape. Her breasts appear more lifted even though the breast itself was not repositioned. Some grafted fat may be reabsorbed over time, and results vary between patients. When the goal is better contour rather than a bigger breast, fat grafting allows the added volume to go exactly where it improves shape the most.
