Breast Augmentation with Fat Grafts Before & After Case 1383
Case Details
When breasts lose volume at the top and settle lower, they can look deflated even when overall size remains generous. This 40-year-old patient came to Dr. David Stoker with larger breasts that had some sagging, and she wanted more fullness in the upper pole. Rather than using an implant, Dr. Stoker performed a breast augmentation with fat grafts.
Fat was harvested through liposuction and grafted into the breasts. Once it establishes a blood supply, the transferred fat becomes part of the breast tissue, so the new volume blends with what she already had. Placing the fat to rebuild the upper breast allowed Dr. Stoker to improve her shape without adding unnecessary size.
After surgery, her breasts appear fuller and more youthful, with improved upper pole volume and a softer, more natural slope. Because no implant was used, there is no defined upper edge. Patients with more significant sagging may need a breast lift to change the position of the breast itself. For this patient, fat grafting restored the upper fullness she had been missing.
