Breast Augmentation with Fat Grafts Before & After Case 1235

For this 24-year-old patient from Eastern Europe, the goal was a more balanced figure without breast implants. She had stubborn fat through her midsection that had not responded to exercise and dieting, and she also wanted fuller breasts. Rather than choosing implants, she hoped the fat removed from her waist could be used to add breast volume. Fat transfer breast augmentation made that possible, using the same operation to contour one area of the body and enhance another.

Dr. David Stoker performed power-assisted liposuction 360 degrees around the waist, treating the front, sides, and back of the midsection for a continuous, tapered contour. Because the fat would be transferred, he performed the harvest in a deliberately gentle way. This preserved as many viable fat cells and naturally occurring stem cells as possible. He then injected approximately 200cc of fat into each breast.

The long-term postoperative photographs show an increase of nearly a full cup size, with fuller breasts and a soft, natural curvature. Her slimmer waist further accentuates that change, creating a more proportional figure than either procedure would alone. Some transferred fat can be reabsorbed, and graft survival varies between patients.
