Stoker Plastic Surgery Open Now with a New ‘Safer Appointment’ Process

Dr. David Stoker

We are excited to welcome you back to the practice effective immediately. Our appointments for both surgical and non-surgical services are quickly filling up. We encourage you to begin your journey with a Virtual Consultation or to email or call (310) 300-1779 to reserve your in-office appointment.

We are adapting our scheduling process and extending our hours to minimize patient overlap and maximize convenience. Please read on for important information about our new process.

Extended Hours & Increased Privacy

In-office consultations and treatments are available for surgical and non-surgical services. We are offering fewer appointments each day to minimize patient overlap and allow ample time to sanitize every surface after each patient visit. To accommodate high appointment demand, we will offer appointments during extended weekday hours and on Saturdays. Priority has already been given to reschedule patients whose appointments were cancelled due to California’s shelter at home order.

Additional Steps to Safeguard Your Health

In addition to our normal, rigorous safety standards, we have expanded our prevention precautions to include:

  • A detailed surface sanitizing after each patient visit
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations in every room
  • A prohibition on appointments for anyone showing signs of fever or cough or patients who have higher risk of exposure in the 14 days prior to their appointment
  • Masks and eye protection for all staff
  • Masks for all patients
  • Daily staff briefings to reiterate the importance of hand washing, surface sanitization, and patient handling protocols

Before your appointment we will pre-screen patients for symptoms and risks. We will take your temperature immediately upon your arrival and will ask you to reschedule if you have a fever. Please bring your own mask and wear it throughout your office visit. If you do not have a mask, we will offer you a mask immediately upon entering our office.

While our new scheduling process should minimize any wait, we prefer for you to remain in your car until your provider and private room are ready. Please call us from your car when you arrive at our building. Our patient concierge will then confirm exactly when you may enter our office and proceed directly to your private examination room. We want to prevent having patients seated or congregated in our waiting room. Additionally, patients should not bring other persons to their appointment without first obtaining clearance from our office.

Making the Best of the New Normal

We’re working hard to ensure that the new precautions don’t detract from your experience and to help you feel secure and confident as you visit our office. Should you have any questions or special requests, please share them with our team.

We hope all our patients will continue to do their part to minimize risk and stop the spread of infection. By following protocols recommended by the state and our practice, together we will do our part to support the staged re-opening of business.

Sincerely,

Dr. Stoker and Staff
